Passivation of Stainless Steel

After the actual pickling process, the stainless-steel parts are provided with a passivation coating. The passivation coating protects the stainless steel from corrosion.
As the passivation coating is destroyed by the application of heat when forming or welding using oxygen, these parts are treated with a passivation solution after the pickling and spraying process. This ensures a compact uniform passivation coating for optimum corrosion protection. This occurs with immersion and spray processes.
